The fundamental SCE network properties like autonomous behaviour and aware-rich networking will be formalized and modelled. Several sub-objectives will be addressed:

• Study and analysis of models for adaptation and dynamic self-expression
• Development of a component model that allows dynamic reconfiguration while preserving system state and that supports the capability of dynamically self-expressing different architectural structures and styles for adaptation
• Investigation of fundamental SCE network properties like autonomous behaviour and aware-rich networking

Work package 2 will deal with this objective.
